The Heart of Cactus Ranch
Our story began in a garage with a simple idea: create quality custom apparel that people would be proud to wear.
What started with custom T-shirts and hoodies quickly grew into something much bigger. As more people discovered our work, we expanded our products, added new services, and eventually opened our storefront in Truth or Consequences. Today, Cactus Ranch NM Store is more than a place to shop. It's a place where creativity, convenience, and community come together. Every customer who walks through our doors is welcomed like a neighbor, whether you're searching for the perfect gift, bringing an idea to life, preparing for a move, or simply stopping in to see what's new.
Our journey has always been guided by the goal of creating a place that makes everyday life a little easier while supporting the community we love. Every visit is an opportunity to shop local, discover something unexpected, and experience the friendly service that keeps people coming back.
Thank you for being part of our story. The garage may be behind us, but the passion, creativity, and hometown spirit that started it all are still at the heart of everything we do.
Meet Deb - Owner
I've lived in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico since 1985, I moved here when I was 19 years old. I managed a few businesses with my late husband. But this one is for me.
I started Cactus Ranch NM Store in 2020 during Covid with a Cricut. I made tshirts, drinkware and started making jewelry again after about 20 years. I put my products in boutiques around Truth or Consequences where I live. I set up at rodeos and eventually established a popup in a parking lot in Elephant Butte Lake for the summer. I then developed a following and my garage filled with equipment and printers. To say the least I outgrew the garage and needed more space. That is when I moved into the building I'm in now. My boyfriend asked, "You won't need the whole building, right? Well, today I'm using every square foot of space. I have done live streams on Facebook and TikTok featuring my clothing and jewelry. In December of 2024 a U-Haul manager stopped in and asked if I was interested in leasing equipment. I hadn't thought about it, but I said yes. Then I found out T or C was without a UPS drop-off, and I pursued that. We ship, print, fax, and offer physical and virtual mailboxes. Virtual business address and more. I love my community and want to continue providing services for all their needs.
Meet Dixie
Hello, my name is Dixie. I was born in Georgia and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I spent many summers in Truth or Consequences with my cousins and grandparents, and I always felt safe, loved, and connected to the community. As our children grew older, my husband and I realized we needed a change, so about two years ago we decided to move here. We now live by the river and enjoy caring for our dogs, goats, and chickens. This move has changed our lives for the better in so many ways. Our kids spend more time outdoors, using their imaginations in ways that make my heart happy. We have built wonderful relationships throughout the community, and we will always cherish them. In March of this year, I met Deborah Vance, owner of Cactus Ranch, and I cannot fully express how grateful I am to be part of her journey. We have grown close both personally and professionally, and I am thankful for the opportunity to serve this community in many meaningful ways. At Cactus Ranch, we continue to grow, adapt, and meet the needs of our beautiful city. Thank you to everyone who has supported Cactus Ranch with love, encouragement, and growth.
